Eye Promise Restore
A new dietary supplement, with Zeaxanthin and Lutein in the same ratio as found in the center of a healthy macula, is now available in a Professional version. The is supplement contains a patented dose of Zeaxanthin, at a level only available in EyePromis Restore, plus Lutein - the carotenoids that make up the pigment in the macula. Lutein is already known to be beneficial and Zeaxanthin may be even more important for healthy vision. Studies suggest that a deficiency of Zeaxanthin and Lutein, along with other risk factors, may play a contributing role in developing Age-related Macular Degeneration.
Oasys Artificial Tears
The Rochelle Eye Care Center is proud to carry OASYS Artificial Tear therapy. Oasys tears are more viscous than most over-the-counter artificial tears. They are approved for chronic dry eye treatment. Oasys tears may be used with contacts as well. Most patients report exceptional comfort and vision with the use of Oasys tears. These artificial tear therapy drops are not available in stores. They are marketed only through health care professional offices and should be used under the supervision of you eye care practitioner.
Omega 3 Therapy:
We at the Rochelle Eye Care Center know that you want to do everything you can to preserve the clarity and comfort of your vision. Recent studies have shown that Omega 3 fatty acids can help treat dry eye problems as well as helping maintain the health of your retinas. Studies have also shown that not all "fish oil" products are alike. Some contain impurities that can be harmful to your health. Some say they have a high amount of fish oils, but the actual concentration of DHA and EPA omega 3 fatty acids are quite low.
After exhaustive research, we decided to provide Omega 3 supplements to our patients from Nordic Naturals. These have shown to have the best DHA and EPA concentrations per capsule. Nordic Naturals are processed to remove impurities and provide the best possible health benefits. Plus, there is no unpleasent after-taste.
